In case of unavailability of the mentioned medical practices, tourists who are in the area of Šibenik-Knin county during the tourist season and need health care services can obtain them as follows:
Citizens of the European Union who are on a trip to Croatia or for some other reason are in Croatia only temporarily and are insured in one of the member states of the European Union have the right to use the European Health Insurance Card for health protection, with payment of participation in any medical practice in the county or in „special duty“ medical practice on address Šibenik, Zvonimirova 23.
The costs of medical services provided to persons coming from countries with which Croatia does not have agreements are charged directly to the user according to the cost price. Tourists can also use the services of private doctors and dentists by paying the full price of all medical services.
